Tunnel of Fame Studios Officially Opens in Ibadan on August 10

Ibadan's creative community is set to welcome a new home for indigenous music, content creation and talent development as Tunnel of Fame (ToF) Studios officially opens its doors on Monday, August 10, 2026.

The grand opening will also mark the official inauguration of TOF Magazine, a new publication dedicated to documenting, celebrating and preserving the rich heritage of indigenous Yoruba music and culture.

Guests will also witness the unveiling of:

ToF Liveband Studio – A professional recording and rehearsal space designed for live bands and indigenous musicians.

ToF Podcast Studio – A modern studio for interviews, storytelling and creative content production.

ToF Barber Shop (Hair Express) – Premium grooming services in a creative environment.

TOF Magazine – A collector's publication celebrating the past, present and future of indigenous Yoruba music.

Popular comedian and actor Ayo Ajewole (Woli Agba) will grace the occasion as the Special Guest, while renowned indigenous artists Tayo King, Prince Goke Bajowa and master talking drummer Akoko Oba Ilu will also be in attendance.

The event will feature live performances from an exciting lineup of gospel and indigenous music talents, including Ajulo Jesu (Oba ti n Sore), Luli Voice, IyanuOluwa Praise, Sade Apotieri, Modupe Amazing, Anointed Seraph, Koredeblaq, Adekunle Medley, Kaybright, Oyin Olajide Gracious, Sola Areo (Mega Child) and Yinka Ayodele.

The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. at ToF Studios, Lam Adeshina Junction, Felele, Ibadan, with guests expected from the music, media and creative industries.

The opening represents the beginning of a new chapter for indigenous music in Ibadan, creating a platform where artists can record, rehearse, tell their stories, develop their careers and gain wider recognition.
